Assistant Festival Manager
Astrid Caruso-Lynch began singing in her mother’s choirs at the age of six and attended her first RSCM course at the ripe age of 10 years old. Since then, she has attended courses as a chorister or proctor almost every summer. A life-long lover of liturgy and church music, her experiences at RSCM and then as a chorister at Trinity Episcopal Church in Princeton, NJ led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Church Music & Organ Performance at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Since college, she has pursued a more administrative path, serving as a Parish Administrator and Communications specialist at various Episcopal churches. In December of 2021, she completed a Master’s degree in Arts Administration at Indiana University in Bloomington. Astrid’s formative experiences with RSCM continue to impact her daily life as she sings regularly in the choir at the Episcopal Church of All Saints and has loved teaching music theory to choristers at Christ Church Cathedral. She lives near downtown Indianapolis with her husband, Christopher, in their 100+ year old home, tries (poorly) to replicate her Sicilian roots in the kitchen, and escapes to the mountains at every chance she gets.
