Linda Buzard has been organist at the Chapel of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church since the fall of 1988 and became the Organist and Choir Director in 1991. She began an RSCM program in 1988 to give the children in the parish the opportunity become fully involved in the choral program. Since it is a smaller parish she was able to integrate the choristers directly into the choir as full participants. Over the years she has taken choristers to several RSCM courses in various places throughout the country and she has served as a proctor, housemaster and organist at numerous courses. With the advent of the Voice for Life program she got involved with Bronze, Silver and Gold exams, as she has found them to be a tool to help singers achieve their singing goals. She currently serves as a validated examiner and Administrator for the RSCM exams in America. We are pleased that she will be offering the opportunity for choristers and adults to take exams during the course.
