Nathan Wright is a PhD student in musicology at Indiana University, where he also earned his MA in musicology. At Indiana University, Nathan teaches the undergraduate survey of music history as an Associate Instructor within the Jacobs School of Music. Prior to earning his MA in musicology, Nathan attended Anderson University and graduated with a BA in music history and theory.

He has written program notes for various ensembles at the Jacobs School of Music, the Concert Series of Christ Church Cathedral, and has presented pre-concert lectures for the Opera and Ballet Theatre of Indiana University.
Nathan sings in the Choir of Adults and Choristers at Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis, where he enjoys participating in the rich musical tradition that motivates his academic work.
